Rowboat, Art Afloat

It’s another hot summer Monday here in Fort Point. The pavement is shimmering, the heat unbearable. But this particular Monday is different. Today, I had the privilege of going on a rowboat after lunch to explore the waters of the Fort Point Channel. I’m new to the neighborhood, and it’s only my second week with the Friends. Last week I brought my daughter to the Seaport to explore the Fort Point Channel with the Community Boat Building summer camp at Fan Pier. Seeing Fort Point and the Seaport through her eyes has inspired me and my staff to finally stop talking about setting up a blog and start putting one together.Read More
